Cast and Fall

The idea to write my first book, Cast and Fall came from my love of paranormal/ fantasy books, mostly young adult, and also from a very imaginative young girl. When I was a pre-teen, I've had constant ideas in my head, and one of them was the idea of an angel; at the time and being that I was twelve, I didn't feel that it was entirely a made up story--for one, because I believed in the existence of angels, and believed in the nature for which they were created; savior, healer, etc. and destroyer, punisher and things most people would be too scared to associate angels with. So there goes the story in my head, that a fallen angel fell in love with a human girl. After all, opposites do attract and what is more opposite than an angel/ human relationship.

So, several years passed...apparently 28, I'm 40 now. I actually stopped reading for awhile, well, because I got busy, got married, had three kids, started a business, etc.,etc. Then one summer, I picked up a book at the library while taking my daughters (yes, I have study sessions with them during the summer) and after I have read countless books (borrowed and bought) I realized the disconnect of some authors with the readers. Then it hit me. I needed to write the story that I had been holding on for years, and hopefully be able to translate all the characters' passion and emotion into my writing.

The problem was, in recent months and maybe a couple of years now, there had been a saturation of angel books all over the place and felt, maybe I should write something entirely different. -a long pause here-The thing was, I really wanted to write this story specifically, and being a writer was never the goal. So after deliberating and bracing myself, I started typing, editing, formatting and after a long year, I self published Cast and Fall on kindle on September 2012.

SPOILER ALERT: In case you haven't read the first book.

The second book, Daggers at Midnight is in the works and will be released in 2013. It will continue on with Tristan and Katherina's journey. Several key characters will evolve and will have significant roles; Cash, Maxiel and Katheryna's close friends. There's also the introduction and battle between the Nephilims vs. the Dephils and will include the merphils (mermaids: fallen angels that have fallen into the abyss of the sea).

The third book, Frozen Fire, do not have a tentative date of release
